Grandma and Grandpa Garbett come to visit!

My parents came to visit over the weekend. They wanted to see Brycen play in a soccer game (which ended up being cancelled) and help us celebrate Blake's 4th birthday.

Go'n for a bike ride.

 Allie has started this thing where she scrunches up her nose a sniffs in and out. Sometimes when we are playing with her she wiggles her head back and forth when she is excited, Brycen and Blake get a kick out of that. Jared has also claimed "dada" as her first word. He loves to sit with her and say "dada" over and over until she repeats it. 

Last week at play group somebody brought nail polish for all the little girls.  Allie got her toenails painted (with the help of another mom). I thought it was so cute, I had to take a picture of those tiny toes!

Adam and Eve

Blake colored this picture of Adam and Eve on Sunday. When I asked him who Adam and Eve were he said, "They were Sister Nelson's (his sunbeam teacher) first grandparents." Hey, at least he was listening!! I thought it was so cute, I didn't want to correct him!

Work'n Out!

I found Brycen and Blake work'n out just like dad. They asked me if I knew why they were working out and I said "no, why?" and they said "so we can get girlfriends." I thought I had at least another 5 years before they'd be saying that!!

Allie 5 months old

Allie is now five months old! She gets lots and lots of love from her brothers! Brycen especially can't get enough of her. He always says "I can't stand it, she is just so cute."
This week Allie got the hang of rolling over and she always likes to have a toy in her hand to play with. She loves it when we play with her and we can't get enough of her cheesy little grins!!

This picture probably looks a little scary! Allie playing with a tarantula! When you have two older brothers this is the kind of toy you get to play with!!

Spring Break

Jared got a week off for spring break, Brycen's spring break happen to be the same week, so we took a trip to Utah. In this picture we are just about to eat Sunday dinner, everyone was there except for Richard, who is on a mission in Peru!

While we were there, Jared made a stop to the emergency room! He cut his head open playing basketball! 5 Stitches above his right eyebrow!

We got to spend some time with Jared's brother Shawn and his new wife AnnMarie. Jared and the boys got to watch shawn practice some football down at BYU and I got to go shopping with my mom and sisters.

Easter Weekend

For the past three years we have taken the boys to the Alpenrose Dairy Easter egg hunt in Portland, it is becoming one of our Easter traditions. Tons and tons of chocolate eggs are thrown out onto a huge grassy field, some of them are tagged with prizes. Brycen and Blake just hunt for the eggs that are tagged, so they can redeem them for prizes. 

Here they are with all their prizes. This is equivalent to Christmas!
After the Easter egg hunt we took the boys swimming, one of their favorite things to do! So I made Jared get in with them!!
