Blake's Baptism

Blake's baptism was a very special day! We are so proud of him. When the bishop interviewed Blake for his baptism he knew the answers to every question. Blake was able to play the opening song (Come follow me) and the closing song (I am a child of God) at his baptism. He did such a good job as this was his first time accompanying. Grandma Garbett gave such a neat talk on Baptism and Jared gave a talk on the Holy Ghost. While we were waiting for Blake to get dressed, Brycen sang "I need the every hour" and Allie sang "Come follow me." After the baptism we had a little luncheon at the church. When we asked Blake why he wanted to be baptized he said "because I want to live with my family forever."

Ty turns 1

Ty turned one on May 2! He is such a little sweetie. He is always the center of attention at our house. He is starting to say a lot of words. He says mama, daddy, Allie, bootee (blankie), baba (bottle), nanny (banana), uh oh, bye-bye, doggie, ball, bunny, bopple (apple), tree, choo-choo, bite, and bat. He loves to be outside. If he sees the door open and you don't take him out he is throwing a tantrum! He wasn't walking right when he turned one but gradually over the last month he has gone from crawling to walking. He loves to play with the kids, they think anything he does is just so funny. We've given him the nickname Skeeter or Skeet. He loves to take baths and play with a ball. We sure love this little dude!

Jared bought a push mower for our backyard. The boys loved mowing the lawn so much that they went around the neighborhood mowing everybody's lawns!  

Wicked

Jared and I went to the broadway musical wicked. We've never been to a broadway musical and we loved it. It was such a fun date!
