4th of July weekend

For the 4th of July weekend we went down to Jared's parents house in Woodburn, Oregon. We went to a big Doman reunion, celebrated Brycen's birthday, went to a rodeo and all the boys went fishing. Blake was soooo proud of his fish!
We had a hot dog/marshmellow roast Birthday party for Brycen and his cousin Kasen. 

The Boys and I spent all week making this pinata, they had fun decorating it! 

   They had even more fun hitting it!

Summer fun!

It's amazing how many little boys live on our street! Brycen is like a caged tiger when I make him come in the house, he always wants to be outside with his friends.
The boys got to do an arts and crafts type of class called Kreative Kids from a lady in our ward. She had a day just for boys! They got to make all sorts of pirate things like hats, swords, treasure chests, and ships. They also got to paint some flip flops and dip all sorts of things into chocolate fondue! 

My Birthday!

My Birthday was July 9th, Jared had this edible arrangement delivered, which I thought was such a good idea! He knows how much I love fruit, chocolate was a bonus too! Thanks to everyone who called or emailed to wish me a Happy Birthday, it is so fun to hear from friends and family on your Birthday!

I got a Birthday card in the mail from our financial planner that listed some facts from the year I was born (1979). The part the made me feel so old was the cost of living section.

I'm going to enjoy the last year of my twenties! I can't believe I'll be thirty in a year! AHHH!

Allie

Allie 9 Months

Allie 8 Months

Allie has changed so much in the last few months. She is now 8 months old. She got crawling down at about 7.5 months and sits up without tipping over. We can finally see her two bottom teeth coming in. Just yesterday (Sunday July 13th) she learned to say and wave bye bye. She loves to sit and play with toys and is sleeping all through the night. She is getting to that age where she hates to sit still long enough to get dressed and have her diaper changed. She is taking two naps a day and we just recently tried giving her some baby crackers, she has really loved that.

Brycen graduates Kindergarten and finishes T-ball and soccer

All the parents were invited to come see the kids get their graduation certificates. I can't believe Brycen is already done with kindergarten, he is growing up way too fast!

A Few weeks ago, I picked Brycen up from the bus stop and found him wearing this "Super Suit" he made at the creation station at school.
Brycen did T-ball and soccer this spring. He loves to be active in any sport.

Brycen has such a good arm for a little guy. He can probably throw further than I can! At the end of the season he got a trophy, he was so proud of it he carried it around for days.

Blake's 4yr old pics

Blake is 4 now! He is such a good boy. He loves to run around with his brother and all the neighborhood friends. He loves to sit and play with his puzzles and his junk (a collection of little odds and ends). He loves to line up anything like his cars or his junk and make it all orderly. He has to wear flip flops just about anywhere even during the winter time. His favorite T.V. show is Tom and Jerry. He can recognize most of the Alphabet and write his name really well. He loves to go to the library and do the puzzles they have there. He likes to eat anything that has to do with cheese. He doesn't like to be alone, if I am upstairs and he is downstairs he will yell, "I don't want to be alone down here." Every night at bedtime he has to have either mom or dad lay by him even if it is just for one minute. He hates hugs and kisses especially from mom because hair gets in his face. He likes to ride his bike and his scooter. Blake has the sweetest eyes in the world, they melt your heart just like the cat, puss from Shrek.

Allie 6 month update

This Picture was taken shortly after Allie turned six months. We absolutely adore her! She is always so happy. She can push up onto her hands and knees but flops back onto her tummy when she tries to go forward. She is waking up once sometimes twice a night, but after filling her tank goes right back to sleep. No teeth yet, but has started rice cereal and banana and finally takes a bottle and binkie! Her brothers love her as much as they did the day she was born and have given her the nickname "Allie Cake Cake."
