Halloween

We had a fun Halloween, we decided to go with the BYU football theme this year. My parents came to visit for the weekend, they handed out candy at our house while Jared and I took the kids trick-or-treating. Allie was in heaven, every house we went to she would ask for two treats! She couldn't wait to get home and eat all the candy. Earlier that day we went to our neighborhood park and got some pics of the kids in their costumes.

Jared turns 31!

We just celebrated Jared's 31st birthday on October 28th! He had to work on his birthday, so we had a little family party with him when he got home. We gave him a basket full of exciting gifts like; razors and shaving gel, a book, some of his favorite treats, and a nose and ear hair trimmer. I guess when your a dentist your more aware of your nose hairs!

We made him some spider cupcakes!

Here is the birthday message he received at work from the staff, along with some balloons! Jared thought it was pretty funny so he brought it home to show me. His mom was so thoughful and sent a birthday cake to the office.

Lego Store

Last weekend I took the boys to a big lego store in Oregon. They let all the kids help build a huge lego Yoda. They had to build three blocks according to the directions on the table. Blake especially loves doing legos, he built four blocks before Brycen could finish three. They received a coupon for helping build the Yoda, so I let them each pick out some legos to earn. They each have to read 50 books to earn their legos!

Zoo

Jared took Allie to the zoo on his day off a few weeks ago, while I went to help out in Brycen and Blake's classrooms. It was such a nice day and Allie loved seeing all the animals and getting daddy all to herself!

Conference

We had a great conference weekend. The kids were really good during the sessions. The Sunday morning session Brycen and Blake worked on a conference packet. Brycen colored this cute page of all the speakers. I told them if they were really quiet and filled out all their pages they could earn some legos. They were really exited about that! They earned their legos and quietly put them together during the afternoon session, while Allie took a nap! So we actually got to listen to conference.

Football

A few weeks ago we went to watch one of Ross' football games. Ross is Jared's brother, he plays football for Dixie. He had a game against a team in Oregon, so we went to cheer him on! Jared made the kids shirts with the #5 on them. The boys sure love to watch the game!

First day of school

Here is Brycen and Blake on their first day of school. Blake was so excited to ride the bus with Brycen. They both got really good teachers this year, I'm so excited about that! Blake is in full day kindergarten and Brycen is in second grade! I can't believe how big they are getting.

Blake was trying to tell us something about the principal, but couldn't think of the right word so he called him a "lunchable!"
