Fun at the beach

We got to spend a few days at a beach house with Jared's family this summer, we had fun playing in the sand, flying kites, and looking for rocks and shells.

Clark County Fair

We went to the Clark County Fair this summer with Jared's sister Emillie and her husband Riley and their little boy Kasen. The boys wanted to try Mutton busting, which is riding a sheep as long as you can. Brycen held on the longest... I got 6 pictures of him. Blake got thrown off as soon as they let the sheep go so I only got a picture of him on the ground. Kasen, their cousin did it too! He rode pretty far. It was so cute watching them. After they rode we bought them ice cream.

Turning 31

July 9th I turned 31, it was a good birthday.

Emillie (my sister in law) and my mother in law, took me to olive garden.

and a bunch of friends from my ward took me to Red Robin to celebrate! I feel so lucky to have so many good friends and family. Thanks to all of you for such a great birthday.

And thanks to my awesome husband for this birthday present (and my birthday present for the next 100 years!! )

I researched and researched pianos...finally found the perfect one, choosing a Yamaha!

The boys are taking piano lessons and doing awesome! I decided to continue taking lessons as well!

10th Anniversary!

July 28th we celebrated our 10th Anniversary! We went to the Melting Pot restaurant in Portland..ohh the food is yummy and it was such a fun date! Jared sent me these balloons and edible arrangement too! I can't believe it has been 10 years! The best 10 years I could ever ask for!

Thumper

This past summer we let the kids get a bunny to have for a pet. They decided to name it Thumper. Brycen probably loves it the most, he carries it around like a baby. They love to let him out to run around the yard or take him to the park. Allie always asks if she can feed the bunny lettuce or his crebles (her word for pellets).

When my family was here for Brycen's baptism we took some family pics since this was the first time we all were together since Richard's mission.

Brycen's Baptism

Brycen was baptized this summer! I can't believe how grown up he is getting, and so handsome too! We had lots of family make a special effort to come. My family flew in from Utah, my brother, Michael flew in from Oklahoma and Jared's grandma who is 92 years old came. Emillie and Riley cut their Utah trip short to come back for Brycen's baptism too! Brycen bore his testimony the next day in church, he said he was grateful that he could be baptized and he was grateful for all the people that could come. We are sure lucky to have such a good boy! Love you Brycen, and so proud of you!

After the baptism everyone came back to our house and we had lunch.
