Family pics!

When my family was here for Brycen's baptism we took some family pics since this was the first time we all were together since Richard's mission.

Brycen's Baptism

Brycen was baptized this summer! I can't believe how grown up he is getting, and so handsome too! We had lots of family make a special effort to come. My family flew in from Utah, my brother, Michael flew in from Oklahoma and Jared's grandma who is 92 years old came. Emillie and Riley cut their Utah trip short to come back for Brycen's baptism too! Brycen bore his testimony the next day in church, he said he was grateful that he could be baptized and he was grateful for all the people that could come. We are sure lucky to have such a good boy! Love you Brycen, and so proud of you!

After the baptism everyone came back to our house and we had lunch.

A surprise visit!

Last month, I came home one night from a party and to my complete surprise found my parents standing in my kitchen! I had no idea they were coming. They had come to see the new house we bought and help us move. We also took the kids swimming at their motel. My mom told me that she wanted to tell me she was coming every time she talked to me on the phone, but my dad wouldn't let her. I'm glad they kept it a secret because I was sure surprised!

Brycen's first piano recital

Brycen had his first piano recital in June. He played Yankee doodle, Book of Mormon stories and We''ll bring the world his truth. He did a great job!

Mike and Richard come to visit

The first part of May, Mike and Richard (my brothers) came to visit. Jared and the kids hadn't seen Richard since he came home from his mission. We had lots of fun while they were here. We made a trip to the beach and flew kites and had a picnic. We had a hot dog roast/marshmallow roast in our backyard. We went up to a park near our house and played a soccer game. Jared took Richard and Mike golfing. They got to come to church with us and Brycen and Blake loved wrestling them on the trampoline. It was fun to have them visit!

A trip to the ER!

Jared plays Basketball with some friends every Wednesday...a few weeks ago he came hobbling home, dying in pain! He had work the next day and didn't know wether or not his ankle was broken. So at midnight he made a trip to the ER... good news his ankle was not broken... bad news... we got a $700 bill for a few xrays! Good grief! He hobbled around at work for a few days after...poor guy!

Blake turns six!

Blake turned 6 on May 6th! I let him stay home from school on his birthday and do the legos he got. He just wanted legos and a pocket knife for his birthday.

Allie wanted to help blow the candles out!

Grandma Doman sent a remote control R2D2 and Grandma Garbett sent Legos!

Blake invited two friends to come to JJjump to celebrate his birthday, which is becomming a birthday tradition. It was so nice to have a small party, the boys ran and ran until they were drenched in sweat!
