Portland Temple

Last Sunday we took a drive to the Portland temple and walked around and took some pictures. It was a fun Sunday activity and we got some cute pictures of the kids and family.

Blake graduates preschool

Blake finished preschool last week. 

 

Miss Emy and Miss Carol were great teachers. Luckily they live in our neighborhood so we didn't have to say goodbye to them!

Blake's classmates, were all friends from the ward and neighborhood.

After graduation we all had a picnic at the park.

Zoo field trip

I got to go with Brycen and his first grade class on a field trip to the zoo. Here are some pictures of Him and his classmates. Brycen always talks about Ella, the dark haired girl four down from Brycen. For example; "Can I invite Ella to my Birthday party?", or "I told Ella I would give her one of my pirate bracelets."  At the zoo, I didn't hear this but one of the other moms told me that Brycen and Ella said they wanted to be alone to talk. Yikes! I might be fighting off the girls a little earlier than I  thought! Anyway, I just thought I'd document that so Brycen can look back and laugh when he is older. 

Blake turns 5!

Blake turned 5 on May 6th.  He had a birthday party at a place called Kids Club. This was his first friend birthday party and he loved it. The cupcakes were a hit too!

I can't believe Blake is 5.  He has started a collection of legos guys (mostly star wars). He spends hours lining them up, taking them apart and putting them back together. This past year he has gone from hardly knowing his ABC's to reading books! He is also very good at math. I was quizzing Brycen the other day on some addition and subtraction problems and Blake piped in with half the answers! He is so excited to go to Kindergarten. He had to have three shots a couple of weeks ago. I told him he could earn a lego guy for every shot he had to get, if he was  brave. On the third stab he let out a little cry but that was it! I was proud of him for being so brave!

Allie 18 months

Allie is growing up so fast!  She is talking so much and saying the cutest things! 

Allie says pease for please.  It's pretty hard to say no, when she is looking at you with those big brown eyes and saying pease! Here are some things she asks for!

She loves to grab their things and run! Isn't that what little sisters are for? 

She is lucky to have two big brothers to look out for her. A few weeks ago we took Allie's binki away and only let her have it for nap and bed time. Brycen and Blake told me I was mean and that she was just a baby and to give it back to her. Sometimes I would catch them sneaking it to her! Every night they pray for her, usually that she will grow big.  Brycen took her for show and tell to his first grade class. The teacher had Allie sit on a chair next to Brycen, and the whole class sat on the floor around them and asked Brycen questions about her. 

Allie loves animals, especially "kitty's" and "doggies" . When we had her pictures done the photographers cat ended up in some of the pictures because Allie would have a fit if we took the cat away.

Disneyland

We left Allie with Grandma Doman and took the boys to Disneyland

and California Adventure for three days, it was sure fun! Here are some

of the highlights of our trip.

Notice we didn't track down any princesses. Maybe the 

next time around!

Jedi Training Acadaemy was one of the top highlights of the 

trip. The boys were chosen out of the audience to train. After

the training they got to fight the dark side! Either Darthmal 

or Darthvader. It was very cute to see how serious they took

it!

In toon town we tracked down Mickey and Minnie! We also

found Chip and Dale's tree house.

The Pixar parade was amazing! The boys loved seeing all the characters.

The family favorite ride was in California Adventure, called Soarin over California. We loved it so much we went back 4 times! Blake said his favorite was the Buzz light year ride and the Jedi training. Brycen said his favorite was also the Jedi training and the roller coaster that went upside down! I loved seeing the boys having so much fun. Jared forced me to go on the Hollywood tower of terror! I hated every second of it but I survived! I made him go on it's a small world! He thinks it's dumb but I love that ride,it is just so classic! Reminds me of when I went there as a kid! Fun times!Fun memories!

Finally an Update!

I have been told I'm a horrible blogger! I'll repent and try to do better!  So here it is, an update on the past couple of months. Emillie! Pictures of Allie are comming! I just had her pics done and I'm wait'n on them! We are headed to disneyland this next week too! Hopefully we don't come back with the Swine flu! Thanks for reading. Love you all!
