My Little Princess

Allie is all girl from head to toe. She goes nuts over anything that is pink, princess, or pretty. She would wear a dress every day if I let her. She saw this yellow and pink flowered dress at Costco when I was there doing some shopping one day. I let her hold it for the time I was there and then I snuck it out of the cart. A few weeks later we went back to Costco and the minute we walked into the store she wanted to go find that dress and there was no way I was sneaking it out of the cart that time!

I bought Allie four pairs of princess shoes. I let her earn them by going on the potty! After a few days of earning princess shoes Allie is potty trained! YEAH!

Getting Allie dressed is getting harder and harder, because she has a very strong opinion on what she should wear. Usually it has to be pink or a dress for Allie to agree, very different from her brothers who could care less about what they wear.

I love that she is so girlie, I thought she might turn out to be a tom boy since she has two older brothers but nope she is 100% girlie girl.

What a Mess!

My parents sent us a package in the mail and the kids thought the box was the best part! I didn't want them getting into the box but Allie snuck in it when I wasn't look'n and then the boys joined in the fun. Instead of getting mad, I broke out the camera and got some cute pics. We had one messy room, exactly what I didn't want, but I'm glad they had their fun! I found packing peanuts around the house for a week!

Richard comes home!!

My brother Richard came home from his mission to Peru this past month. My parents got to go pick him up and spent a few weeks visiting families that Richard knew as well as sight seeing different areas of Peru.

I took a quick trip home to see him and to hear him speak in church. He did an awesome job, he has such a strong testimony and it was fun to hear some of the stories from his mission.

Saturday morning Michael made us waffles!! And then that afternoon I helped Michael and Richard de-junk their room downstairs. That night we all went to Cafe Rio for dinner!

I was showing Richard my blog to catch him up on the past couple of years! He said "there aren't any pictures of me on your blog." So here your go Richard... pictures of YOU! on my blog! Glad to have you home!

Jared had Presidents day off so we took the kids to the zoo.

Brycen just started on a basketball team with his friend Justin, he takes the game very serious as you can see.

Allie 2 years old.

I thought I would give a little update on Allie. She is growing up so fast. I can't believe she has been two for a couple months now. A few days before she turned two, we decided to try and get rid of her binkie, it was actually much easier than I had imagined. All it took was us telling her that she was a big girl and binkies were for babies. Since then we'll ask, "what's your name?" and she'll either say, "Allie Doman" or "big girl." Sometimes we'll call her "All-a babe-a" and she'll say "I'm not a baby, I'm a big girl." So she takes this big girl think very serious!

Some cute things she does:

Calls Brycen and Blake, "the Boys". "Where are the boys?", "Boys come and eat."

Climbs on you lap and says, "lets talk."

Loves to chew gum (and after a little training, doesn't swallow it.)

Loves anything princess or pink.

Knows all her colors.

Loves to read books.

Can sing "you are my sunshine", "twinkle, twinkle little star" and "zipadee doo dah."

Can't say her "L's." "I wuv you" and "Aunt Windsey" (instead of Lindsey).

Dora is her favorite show, and Enchanted is her favorite movie.

Tells me, "mommy, I love your hair", and "mommy your so pretty."

Every time Jared comes home she runs to the door and yells "yeah, daddy's home."

Loves to wear dresses and go to nursery.

Gives out lots of hugs and kisses.

Refuses to sit in her booster for meals.

If she doesn't hear or understand something you say, she yell "huh?" really loud. (deaf grandma style!)

She was trying to get something out of the closet in her room the other day and the closet door came off the tracks. She came down saying "mommy, my room broked."

Gives the cheesiest smiles.

We sure love our Allie!
