A trip to the ER!

Jared plays Basketball with some friends every Wednesday...a few weeks ago he came hobbling home, dying in pain! He had work the next day and didn't know wether or not his ankle was broken. So at midnight he made a trip to the ER... good news his ankle was not broken... bad news... we got a $700 bill for a few xrays! Good grief! He hobbled around at work for a few days after...poor guy!

Blake turns six!

Blake turned 6 on May 6th! I let him stay home from school on his birthday and do the legos he got. He just wanted legos and a pocket knife for his birthday.

Blake invited two friends to come to JJjump to celebrate his birthday, which is becomming a birthday tradition. It was so nice to have a small party, the boys ran and ran until they were drenched in sweat!

School Talent show

Brycen was in the school talent show...he has been taking piano lessons for about six months. This was his first performance and it was in front of a lot of people. He played "Little Indian Brave" by memory. I was so proud of him, he did so great!

Brycen has been busy playing baseball. He sure loves to play sports! He has one practice a week and two games a week. Here are some pictures of him in action.

After each game the coach picks a player who played well and gives them the game ball. Here is Brycen receiving the game ball... he was so proud!

Spring Break cont...

After we got home from Seattle we went to the Tulip festival in Woodburn, Oregon. This is one of my favorite places... I think the Celestial Kingdom will have tulip fields!!!

Spring Break

Jared got a week off for "spring break", luckily it was the same time as Brycen and Blake's spring break. We were going to head to Utah but decided last minute that we didn't feel like driving all that way! I love Utah and my fam, but I absolutely HATE that drive!

So we decided to head to Seattle and see what there was to see! We got a city pass, which included the Space needle, the science museum, the aquarium, the Seattle zoo, a boat ride, and the museum of flight. We packed all those things in a couple of days! I realized that I forgot my camera when we got to Seattle so here are a few crappy photos from Jared's cell phone of our trip.

My Little Princess

Allie is all girl from head to toe. She goes nuts over anything that is pink, princess, or pretty. She would wear a dress every day if I let her. She saw this yellow and pink flowered dress at Costco when I was there doing some shopping one day. I let her hold it for the time I was there and then I snuck it out of the cart. A few weeks later we went back to Costco and the minute we walked into the store she wanted to go find that dress and there was no way I was sneaking it out of the cart that time!

I bought Allie four pairs of princess shoes. I let her earn them by going on the potty! After a few days of earning princess shoes Allie is potty trained! YEAH!

Getting Allie dressed is getting harder and harder, because she has a very strong opinion on what she should wear. Usually it has to be pink or a dress for Allie to agree, very different from her brothers who could care less about what they wear.

I love that she is so girlie, I thought she might turn out to be a tom boy since she has two older brothers but nope she is 100% girlie girl.
